The Diamond Blog
September Is Here. Here’s What That Means for Your Roof.
September arrives in South Jersey with the kind of quiet authority that doesn’t need to announce itself. The light shifts. The mornings cool. School buses reappear. And for anyone who works in the roofing business — or who has been thinking about their roof all summer — September means something specific: the busiest, most compressed, most consequential month of the roofing calendar has officially begun.
September Is Here — And So Is the Fall Rush
September arrives in South Jersey with a speed that catches homeowners off guard every year. Before Summer Ends — How to Prepare Your South Jersey Roof for Fall and Winter
The roof that handled summer reasonably well is about to face a fundamentally different set of demands. Nor’easters. Falling debris. Early frost. Freeze-thaw cycles. The kind of sustained, horizontal moisture that summer’s afternoon storms almost never produce. Getting the roof ready for that transition — before summer ends rather than after fall begins — is one of the most cost-effective maintenance decisions a South Jersey homeowner can make. Here is exactly what that preparation looks like.
